Aims and Scope
Ruch Prawniczy, Ekonomiczny i Socjologiczny [Poznań Journal of Law, Economics and Sociology] is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic journals in Poland. This quarterly is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles in both Polish and English. Our primary goals are to assist researchers in disseminating the results of their research, and to promote the exchange of views and ideas within the international scientific community.
We prefer articles that have strong theoretical and methodological foundations in the legal sciences, economic sciences, and sociology, and which indicate the practical significance of their considerations or conclusions.
In particular, RPEiS publishes research in the fields of civil, criminal, economic, and constitutional law. In terms of thematic scope, the journal also welcomes texts on the theory and philosophy of law, comparative law, international law, and the legal protection of human rights.
The economics section of RPEiS includes the following research areas associated with economics: the history of economic thought, economic and social policy, international economic relations, finance and insurance, sustainable development, and economic processes at the macro-, meso- and microeconomic levels, covering issues such as labour markets, the functioning of enterprises, and spatial and environmental economics.
The sociological section of the journal primarily publishes articles devoted to the most current social phenomena occurring in Polish and international society. Articles based on original empirical research, as well as theoretical articles that attempt to capture the conditions and consequences of changes taking place in all the most important dimensions of the collective order, are welcome.
