Marek Smolak is a professor in the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland. He concentrates his research on legal theory, legal argumentation, legal interpretation and constitutionalism. In 2020 he published with Wojciech Sadurski and Teresa Chirkowska-Smolak a book entitledRozum publiczny – uzasadnienie sądowe – umył sędziego [Public Reason – Judicial Justification – the Judge’s Mind]and is also the author of numerous articles and books particularly connected to the abovementioned fields. He is a member of The Committee on Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and many editorial boards of scientific journals. More information here

Ewa Małuszyńska, Professor of Economics, MSc of Geography, professor emeritus of the Poznań University of Economics and Business. She worked at the Department of Spatial and Environmental Economics before becoming the head of the Department of European Studies at PUEB. Her research interests, initially covering the issues of spatial management and regional development, direct foreign investments and the location of enterprises, have been extended to issues associated with the functioning of the European Union, in particular the cohesion policy. Her publications include the monographs Regionalne zróżnicowanie zmienności struktur gospodarczych [Regional differentiation of economic structure variability] and Migracje i delokalizacja przedsiębiorstw [Location and relocation of enterprises], as well as articles and book chapters in collective works. She is also the scientific editor and co-author of textbooks and monographs on the European Union. More information here

Rafał Drozdowski is a professor at the Faculty of Sociology of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. Member of the Sociology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Research interests: sociology of everyday life, visual sociology, sociology of culture, changes in contemporary Polish society, sociology of science. Author or co-author of about 160 scientific publications, including the monographs Za fotografię! W stronę radykalnego programu socjologii wizualnej [For the photograph! Towards a radical program of visual sociology] (together with Marek Krajewski) and Praktyki kulturalne Polaków [Cultural Practices of Poles] (together with Barbara Fatyga, Mirosław Filiciak, Marek Krajewski and Tomasz Szlendak), as well as a series of reports under the joint title Życie codzienne w czasach pandemii [Daily life in the time of a pandemic] presenting the results of a research project carried out since March 2020 at the Faculty of Sociology of the Adam Mickiewicz University. Michał Krotoszyński is an assistant professor in the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland. He concentrates his research on transitional justice, legal interpretation and constitutional law. In 2017 he published a book Modele sprawiedliwości tranzycyjnej[Models of Transitional Justice]and is also the author of numerous articles and book chapters. The English translation of articles in 2018 and 2019 was undertaken under contract number 848/P-DUN/2018 financed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education – Objective: Translation of articles of RPEiS for publication in English for open access on the Internet.

The digitalisation and archiving of volumes 1–19 (1921–1939) and 20–59 (1958–1997) was undertaken under contract number 541/P-DUN/2016 financed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education – Objective: Ruch Prawniczy, Ekonomiczny i Socjologiczny—digitalisation and deposition of each year in the AMUR archive with the aim of publishing them and maintaining open access to them on the Internet.

The English translation of articles in 2016 and 2017 was undertaken under contract number 541/P-DUN/2016 financed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education – Objective: Ruch Prawniczy, Ekonomiczny i Socjologiczny—translation and editing of articles for publication in English for open access on the Internet (OJS/ CC licence).
