Web accessibility statement

Web accessibility statement

General information

AMU Law and Administration Faculty is committed to making its website accessible following the provisions of the Act of 4 April, 2019 on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities. This accessibility statement applies to Ruch Prawniczy, Ekonomiczny i Socjologiczny [Poznań Journal of Law, Economics and Sociology, RPEiS] website.

Website publication date: 2022-10-17.
Date of last significant update: 2024-03-15.

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with the Act on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities due to the incompatibilities or exclusions listed below. Ensuring accessibility would impose an excessive burden on the public entity.

Non-accessible content

  • some of the images do not have text alternatives
  • no contrast or large print markings for visually-handicapped or partially sighted people
  • responsive web design might be hard on some devices (scalability problems)
  • the website uses some .pdf, .doc. and .docx files; the editors try to keep the number of such files as low as possible and put the text directly at the website; not all .pdf files were made using well-prepared MS Word files with a logical structure; we will try to change that and make sure that new files are prepared in a correct way

Using the keyboard

The website provides a series of keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices, including:

Tab: shifts the focus to the next active element on the page (link, form);
Shift+Tab: shifts the focus back to the previous active element on the page (link, form);
Enter: activates the selected link or button;
Ctrl+F: brings up the text search box, and allows the user to find words or phrases quickly.

The Statement was prepared on: 2022-10-14.
The Statement was prepared based on a self-assessment carried out by the public entity.
